I have been interested in cooking and baking since I received my Suzy Homemaker Oven as a gift from Santa. In addition to baking cakes with a "light bulb", I got my culinary start at the knee of my Italian mother and Polish father. We gardened, cooked, baked, and ate while sharing traditions with family and friends.
A culinary professional with experience in recipe development, catering, teaching, and demonstration. I am an energetic self-starter who has worked as an editorial Art Director, and in retail with Whole Foods Market.

In summer when the garden is full of an abundance of herbs, make pesto.! Use what you have... basil, parsley and chive whirled in a food processor with nuts, cheese and olive oil. Drizzle on pasta, as a marinade on grilled vegetables, or freeze in ice cube trays to use all winter long .
